St. Paul Sewing Unit teams up with 6th graders
February 19, 2022Rainbow Chapter #276 in Cottage Grove, has been hard at work at having fun!
In June, in honor of Father’s Day, we presented our Fathers with honorary mustaches and had them share their best dad joke or memory.
In August, we collected donations of school supplies to be distributed to two local elementary schools in our “Tools for Schools” program.
In addition to the school supplies, we also made a monetary donation matched by Minnesota Masonic Charities and donated 4 bike and helmet sets to use as incentives for their reading program. We love our schools!
In September, members gathered to enjoy fellowship and tied 30 fleece blankets to be donated to the Naomi Family Center, which is a program affiliated with the Union Gospel Mission. This program helps single moms with children get back on their feet after hardship.
