Unity Chapter #29 Supporting the Community

Unity Chapter #29 was able to have 3 of our 4 major projects during the 2021-2022 year, which allowed us to still make our annual local donations. We had our Bakeless Bake Sale, Tip Night at Pizza Ranch, and Election Day Salad Luncheon. Our Spaghetti Dinner was cancelled due to Covid.
Three donations were made, with matching donations from Minnesota Masonic Charities, to Nancy S., Executive Director of Discover Austin for the Tuba project; Cindy M., Director, Hormel Historic Home, for the summer camps for Autistic Children; and Alexa D-P., Teacher Adviser, Packer Pantry to support local students with food, clothing, and other basic needs.
The Mower County Humane Society also received a donation from Unity Chapter #29 to help with the animals in their care. Unity members present for the donations were Louise A., Neil H., Betty V., Otto V., and Mary H.
